Green School Project started
A Green School Committee has been recently established. It contains members from 5th class, 6th class, 1st, 2nd and Transition Year. They will meet fortnightly. We aim to achieve a green flag in the area of 'litter and waste management' by following the steps recommended by Green Schools Ireland. The process includes reviewing current practices, the establishing of targets and getting whole school support. It will be an ongoing project and may take some time before we are in a position to be inspected for a flag! |
