On Monday the 7th of March Emer, Christian, Miss Swan and I went to the Thomas F. Meagher Flag Ceremony in Croke Park as part of the 1916 centenary commemorations.

First Year Trip: Hill of Tara
The trip was inspired by the novel Artemis Fowl which the First Years are reading this term. It is a story about fairies and magic and Tara is mentioned in it a few times.

3rd Class Girls did History projects. They chose from Vikings, Normans and Ancient Egyptians.

5th class boys and girls went on the 1916 walking tour of Dublin to bring to life what they had been studying in History and what they did projects on.
