Last week we celebrated Seactain na Gaeilge in school.
The children were engaging in performances through Irish and singing Irish songs and reciting Irish poems.
Every morning in Assembly various children won a certificate for being the Gaeilgeoir an Lae (Irish speaker of the day).
On Friday we celebrated the end of Seachtain na Gaeilge and St Patrick’s Day by having a Lá Glas. In assembly on Friday morning each class performed a little piece for the rest of the school. We finished it off with a whole school dance.
