On Tuesday, Fourth Class Mixed were invited to AIB by our Junior Achievement volunteer- Sharon Murphy. They had their final lesson of their J A Programme in the learning centre there. The children were split into four teams. One team designed the product – Marble Bar. The next team devised the price – E1.60 each. The third team decided where to sell the product – in a shop in the city centre near a secondary school. The last group came up with the advertising campaign- they planned to advertise the marblicious Marble Bar by giving free samples and creating a TV/ online advert. Thanks to Sharon Murphy from AIB for delivering the programme in such a fun, hands on way. The children certainly learnt a lot about business.
