5th Class Business and Spanish

Fifth Class have been taking Spanish lessons from the Transition Years. They learned lots of phrases and words over the last couple  of weeks and can now introduce themselves, give directions and identify animals and school subjects. They’ve really enjoyed doing activities, role plays, quizzes and online games!

Fifth Class are undertaking the Junior Entrepreneur Program this year. They are setting up and investing in their own business within the class. Everyone will have a different role in the running of the project and hopefully the risk will pay off so that they get a share of the profit at the end of the year. This week, Ms. Fiona Malone, Mr. Seán Young, Mr. Clancy, Miss Moynihan and Miss O’Reilly were the not-so intimidating dragons in a ‘Dragons Den’ event, helping Fifth Class to choose what the class product will be. Everyone from Fifth Class presented really well and they were very impressive in their research and product development!
