Danu Kinlay and Donagh Thornbury Butlers Limerick Competition Winners

Danu Kinlay and Donagh Thornbury from 6th Class won joint first place in the Butlers Limerick Competition.

They had to compose a Limerick about Butler’s Chocolate. They have won a class trip to the Butlers Chocolate Experience for their whole class.

Danu’s Limerick

There once was a girl who loved Butlers.

For chocolate she’d sell her own brothers.

And dark, milk or white,

Gave her so much delight,

T’was the brand she loved more than all others.

Donagh’s Limerick

There once was a boy who loved Butlers.

But so did his four other brothers.

There was always a scuffle,

For the Irish cream truffle,

But they all get stolen by mothers.
