Last week some of the teachers, Afterschool staff, some parents and a very special guest from 6th class, got together to do some very important work …… Playing with Lego !

Ross , from learnit.ie took us through our paces and we built cars and tested them on out ramp (table balanced on two chairs). We tried them with different wheels and cogs and noted down the different times it took to climb the hill .

We were all very inspired.

Afterschool will be rolling out a Lego club after Christmas so watch this space and we will let you know once a date has been confirmed.
