Patience & Self-Control

On Monday during Assembly the children heard the story of the Grateful Bull which is all about patience.

This week we are practicing patience which is tied in with self-control. When you are feeling frustrated or annoyed or irritated, let that go, breath and enjoy the stillness of not having to rush here or there.

Miss Dempsey gave the example of being in the Supermarket, having to queue for everything and then the realisation of:

Why am I getting annoyed? There’s nothing to do or nowhere to go so just letting it be and accepting the way things are and then enjoying the stillness.
