Weightlifting Ireland

Weightlifting Ireland has kindly come back again this year to run a five-week module on powerlifting using training weights. The boys have been participating in the module for the last five weeks, and the girls will participate in the module for five weeks after Christmas. The trainers highlight the importance of resistance training for reducing the risk of injury, increasing bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis, and enhancing general well-being.
