Cotton Mill Factory

The second year history class got to experience what it would have been like to work in a cotton mill factory in Britain during the Industrial Revolution. They were given different jobs to do, to allow them to experience what conditions would have been like- some students had to make thread, some had to do some sowing whilst some had to collect all the cotton that had fallen on the floor. Afterwards students reflected on how they felt and discussed why conditions were like this before learning about how they were changed.
