Several Leaving Certificate Music students recently attended a music workshop in the National Concert Hall. At the event, the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Brophy gave a breakdown of one of the works on the Leaving Cert. music course, Sinfonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz. This was followed by a performance of the work. David Brophy provided an interactive experience on the day where students were able to see close-ups of various orchestral instruments.

They also watched a power-point presentation throughout the concert. All students felt it was a very helpful aid to their music studies.
