The Green School committee meet every fortnight, and its members range from
1st year to 6th year. They are working on the theme of energy, aiming to reduce energy consumption in John Scottus and increase awareness of how energy is linked to climate change. In previous years, our school has already achieved two flags for our work on litter and waste and water conservation. We had a busy Green Week with presentations at assembly, a lunchtime table quiz, an environmental documentary screening, a poster competition and a scavenger hunt – all related to our theme of energy.
